Starting his career in the radio industry, Wes quickly excelled from a one-person creative department in a small market, to building an award-winning team of creatives, as the Corporate Creative Director at Alpha Media USA. While at Alpha Media, Wes and his team provided creative services to over 250 radio stations in 50 markets, rebranding 20+ stations, and implementing a unified content management system for all of Alpha Media’s brands. In 2016, Wes was nominated as one of five finalists for Digital Executive of the Year at the World Wide Radio Summit.
Having the itch transition away from radio, in 2019 Wes ventured into the world of social media, taking a Creative Director job with social media marketing agency, Cyclone Social. During his three year tenure, he recruited and managed a team of in-house graphic designers, videographers and photographers, providing social media and creative services to clients of all industries and revenue models. Under his leadership, Cyclone Social achieved a ranking of #1027 on Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies in 2020.
Having juggled freelance and a full-time job for years, in May of 2022 Wes decided to take a leap of faith and move into a full-time freelance role. Since that time, he’s worked with select clients in the NBA, NFL and MLB, as well as international recording artists, world renowned podcasts and marketing agencies around the country. His work has been featured on media outlets such MTV, Good Morning America, Today, Rolling Stone and TMZ.
Outside of work Wes loves the nostalgia of old school professional wrestling, Detroit sports and spending time with his wife, Lauren and chow chow, Winnie.
