In July of 2018 Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) dropped it's Indiana University affiliation and became Purdue University Fort Wayne.

 

This is one of many steps the university has taken to alter its identity over the past couple of years. In 2017, IPFW athletics also rebranded as the Fort Wayne Mastodons, in an attempt to have a stronger connection with the local community.

With so many changes, I thought was a good time to re-visit the brand as a whole, and give it a bit of a facelift.  The following is a conceptual rebrand to give the school a fierce, modern approach to kickstart a new chapter of Mastodon athletics.
