2024 NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl Games

Event Design / Apparel Design

My first project with RCX Sports was designing 17u and 14u girls’ championship jerseys, and an all-encompassing event design for the NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, FL. For those unfamiliar, NFL FLAG Championships is a flag football tournament consisting of over 250 teams, representing 23 NFL clubs, and12 countries.

“The NFL Flag Championships at the Pro Bowl Games allows participants to see NFL Flag on one of the biggest stages," said Roman Oben, NFL Vice President of Football Development. “It is our largest tournament to date celebrating flag football with players competing against teams from around the country. The tournament also allows fans to see the many levels of quality competition that will be on display."

Flag football is one of the world's fastest-growing sports disciplines, played by over 20 million people in more than 100 countries, across six continents. It is the most inclusive and accessible format of football, played by people of all ages and genders, with female athletes driving some of the fastest growth. Not only did Pro Bowl Games participants as well as Global Flag Ambassadors make appearances at the NFL Flag Championships, but the championship games were broadcast on ESPN before the NFL Pro Bowl. I was honored to help bring youth sports and flag football to such a prominent stage and have a part in putting this event together.

One of my favorite aspects of designing assets for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games was having the ability to work with the NFL and some of the amazing brand elements their team created.  The amount of detail put into the brand standards, and the number of resources provided allowed for flexibility and made the design process as seamless as possible. As my first project with RCX Sports, I was given full freedom with the championship jerseys and oversight of all the event product design. With this being our biggest event of the year, it was nice to feel trusted and I’m really happy with the final results.
